The Newfoundland and Labrador Aquaculture Industry Association (NAIA) is a member basedorganization that represents the interests of seafood farmers and their suppliers inNewfoundland and Labrador. We are passionate advocates on behalf of our members tofacilitate and promote the responsible development of the aquaculture industry.The role of the project coordinator will be to work with a team to promote and organizeshoreline clean ups in the Coast of Bays and Province. They would encourageparticipation from the aquaculture industry, municipalities, youth groups and the public.They would design promotional signage and write short articles for social media, and theCold Harvester magazine. In-house training would be provided to help enhanceemployment experience and to help them gain confidence working as a team. Someadministrative duties would be required.All candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:• Be between 15 and 29 years of age;• Be registered as a full-time student for the 2025-2026 academic year;• Intend to return to full-time studies in September; and identify asIndigenous.Employment Term: 7 weeks x 35 hours per weekApplications may be sent to Roberta Collier at roberta@naia.caApplications Preferred in Electronic Format
