About the Role Upper Humber Settlement is seeking a Summer Farm Student to support our regenerative farm and honesty market operations. This role is ideal for students interested in agriculture, sustainability, or local food production.Responsibilities Watering, planting, transplanting, pruning, and weeding Assisting with harvesting and food preparation Maintaining and restocking the roadside Honesty Market General farm and greenhouse maintenance The student will work independently at times and alongside the farm manager and team when needed.What We're Looking For Interest in farming or food systems Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work independently Comfortable working outdoorsJob Details Duration: 7 weeks Hours: 35 hours/week Wage: Minimum wage Start Date: July 4 (flexible)Eligibility Criteria Be between 15 and 29 years of age; Be registered as a full-time student for the 2025-2026 academic year; Intend to return to full-time studies in September; and Identify as Indigenous -Priority must be given to registered members of Qalipu First Nation.Email resume to upperhumbersettlement@gmail.com
